Warning

Since the module is completely bare, it’s up to you to add the accessories and build a small enclosure if you wish. So make sure that nothing conductive touches the printed circuit board, not even the metal frame of a loudspeaker. There is a risk of a fatal short circuit for the Exposi'Son!

Power supply

For optimal runtime, I recommend powering it via USB. Otherwise, use rechargeable batteries. For environmental and economic reasons, I NEVER recommend alkaline (non-rechargeable) batteries. They’re cheaper, but disposable…

Speaker or resonator?

Everyone knows regular loudspeakers. A resonator, however, is a kind of speaker that must be glued to a solid surface (glass, wood, cardboard, plastic, etc.), which it makes vibrate. That surface acts as the diaphragm. It’s an ideal solution for playing sound without showing a visible speaker.

Expandable

The module has two screw terminals labeled “1” and “2” on the board: these are “AdKey1” and “AdKey2”. You can connect several push buttons to them to control the player. To make things easier, I created the “Exten'Son” module, which lets you build this setup without any particular technical knowledge. But if you want to handle it yourself, you’ll find more information in the manual.

I designed the device entirely myself, from the PCB layout right through to soldering the components. Each unit is hand-assembled by me.
