General FAQ
How does it work technically?
Each tool uses your browser's Web Audio API to synthesize the signal in real time, then encodes it as WAV (PCM 16/24-bit or IEEE float 32-bit) client-side. No data is sent to a server.
Is it really free?
Yes, no signup, no watermark, no limits. Generated files are royalty-free β commercial use allowed.
Does it work on iPhone / Android?
Yes on modern browsers. Very long durations (several minutes at high resolution) may exhaust memory on low-end phones β a warning is shown in that case.
Why WAV and not MP3?
WAV is lossless (PCM) and reproduces the exact requested signal. For measurement and testing tools, that's mandatory. MP3 introduces artifacts incompatible with these uses.
