In Detail

Warning

Since the module is bare, you’ll need to equip it and possibly build a small enclosure. So please make sure that nothing conductive touches the circuit board — not even the metal part of a speaker. A short circuit could permanently damage the Exposi'Son!

Power Supply

The module can be powered between 3.2 and 5 volts, but a 5V supply is recommended to reach the full 3W audio output. The module alone is very energy efficient, which sometimes causes so-called "smart" power banks to shut down due to low power draw, especially at low audio volumes. So: test first!

USB, Batteries or Cells

For optimal autonomy, I recommend USB power. Otherwise, use rechargeable batteries, so plan for a 3-cell holder. For ecological and economic reasons, I NEVER recommend disposable alkaline batteries. They're cheaper but single-use...

Expandable

The module includes two screw terminals labeled "1" and "2" on the board — these correspond to "AdKey1" and "AdKey2". You can connect up to 20 push buttons in parallel to these terminals by wiring them in series with resistors (more details in the manual).
