This small device is a standalone audio file player that reads files from a micro-SD card (sold separately). It plays WAV or MP3 files stored on it, in mono.
If you're looking for a more "intelligent" device, check out my "Ambi'Son Mini" module.
When purchasing, you can choose from the following options:

It is ideal for creating a sound installation, exposition, museography, staging, an audio kiosk, integrating into a work of art, or for model railroading, for example.

In detail
The module includes a push button: a short press plays the first file once, a long press plays it in a loop. If you press the button during startup or short-circuit the "AdKey1" terminal, it loops all files on the card.
Indeed, it has two screw terminals labeled "1" and "2" on the board: these are "AdKey1" and "AdKey2". You can add multiple push buttons in parallel to their terminals by wiring them in series with resistors (more information here).
The module can be powered between 3.2 and 5 volts. The module alone is very energy-efficient: less than 10 mA! Sometimes, so-called "smart" powerbanks go into sleep mode, cutting off power, especially at low sound levels. Test it out!

As the module is bare, it's up to you to equip it and build a small case if you wish, and make sure that nothing conductive touches the printed circuit board, not even the metal from the speaker. A short circuit could be fatal for the Pico!
I completely designed the device: from drawing the electronic board to soldering the components. It is made by my own hands.
