Black Box (movie) - 2021
This film deals with an investigation following the crash of a passenger plane. Analysis of the sounds recorded in the black box will help unravel the mystery. A film by Yann Gozlan starring Pierre Niney, Lou de Laâge, André Dussollier, and others. This film was nominated for the César Award for Best Sound in 2022.
The Wolf's Call (movie) - 2019
A film directed by Antonin Baudry, starring François Civil and Omar Sy, it focuses on listening devices aboard a military submarine. Since active radar is impractical and undetectable, this type of submarine relies solely on listening to maintain its position in space. This compelling film received the César Award for Best Sound in 2020.
A Quiet Place (movie) - 2018
In a post-apocalyptic world, a family must live in silence to escape creatures that hunt using sound. The absence of dialogue and meticulous sound design make sound a central element of the narrative. Director: John Krasinski.
Berberian Sound Studio (movie) - 2012
