SoundBoardStudio, a sound box

In radio, during performances, or in theater, it is sometimes essential to manage the playback of sound files, sound effects, or even music.

In my younger days, we used audio CDs for this purpose. Times have changed, and now it's computing that has taken over, with mobile applications becoming the norm.

That's why I would like to introduce you to "SoundBoard Studio."

Introduction

It is a free iOS application designed for tablets and smartphones, but it also works on my Mac M1.

A paid version is available to expand the possibilities, but the free version is already quite impressive.

In Detail

You can create up to 4 "boards" containing 24 sounds that are easy to add from your documents or Finder. You can even add files downloaded from BigSoundBank!

Once a sound is added, you can assign it a color, adjust the volume, apply fade-ins and fade-outs, and even define colors.

Simply press the pad of your choice to play the desired sound under the programmed conditions. It's child's play.
